CHELMSFORD — Agricultural Commission schedules April meeting to review expiring sugarhouse lease and recommend next steps. The Commission unanimously approved its November 2025 minutes. Town Manager Paul Cohen indicated the town wants evidence of the Cooking Buckets Sugarhouse operation's viability before issuing a new lease request for proposal, as the 10-year agreement nears expiration.

The Commission also authorized Mike Raisbeck to consult Town Counsel on rolling agricultural leases that automatically renew annually, with lessors required to file brief annual operation reports.
