CHELMSFORD — Select Board approves McCarthy School roof and five DPW contracts totaling $2.3 million. Vice Chair Patricia Wojtas moved all four votes unanimously, with the McCarthy School roof contract to WPI Construction accounting for $2.078 million and DPW awards for traffic markings, hot mix asphalt, ADA ramps, and asphalt berms totaling $219,030. The board also unanimously approved licenses for Kri Kri Grill, Triangle Deli, and Ajolote Mexican Grill; re-appointed Lawrence MacDonald to the Nashoba Valley Technical District School Committee; and voted to support the proposed Chelmsford Arms 96-unit senior housing development at 1 Smith Street.
Chair Patrick Maloney announced his voluntary retirement effective April 7.
