Board defers septic hearing to next month

CHELMSFORD — Board of Health defers septic hearing to March. Chair David Paquette, Vice Chair Dr. Eric Meikle, and Clerk Richard Day voted unanimously Tuesday to discuss draft regulations on septic system maintenance and inspection, scheduling a public hearing for March 3.

The board also unanimously approved routine correspondence items, including multiple Department of Environmental Protection notifications and orders to correct properties on Tyngsboro Road and Carlisle Street. Public Health Director Donna Greenwood was present.
