Board of Assessors approves appraiser for housing development valuation

CHELMSFORD — Board of Assessors approves $8,750 appraisal contract for 255 Princeton Street housing project. Chair Samuel P. Chase, along with members Michael R.
Donoghue and Gabe Francisco, unanimously authorized LandVest, Inc., to conduct Phase 1 of the appraisal, aiming to establish accurate assessed values for the large housing development. The Board also approved motor vehicle excise abatements totaling $8,461.81 across fiscal years 2023-2026 and end-of-month tax reports documenting real property abatements of $30,875.17, real property exemptions of $14,441.75, and personal property abatements of $4,275.53. All actions were approved unanimously, each by motion of Michael R.
Donoghue and second of Gabe Francisco.
