CHELMSFORD — The Chelmsford Clean Energy and Sustainability Committee approved prior meeting minutes and directed staff to develop metrics for the Community First Partnership program. Chair Badhri Uppiliappan requested detailed outcomes data from the program, which began six months ago and has conducted approximately 58 activities; committee member Peter Spawn confirmed the program does not keep records at the required detail level. Committee members Bern Kosicki and Spawn agreed with a suggestion from committee member Jackie Zeimbekakis to create a list of specific metrics for the program to support.
The committee also discussed Solarize Chelmsford efforts with Sun Well, planning solar installation proposals for Wilson Street Senior Citizen housing and related facilities, with Uppiliappan and Nicolas Mercier gauging business interest in the North Chelmsford and Drum Hill area.
