Commission on Disabilities approves prior minutes, hears ADA updates

CHELMSFORD — The Chelmsford Commission on Disabilities approved prior minutes and received reports on town accessibility initiatives. Chair Joanne Stanway led discussion of ADA improvements at Sunny Meadow and Beach Chair, presented by Support Services Manager Kristina Bruce. Building Commissioner and ADA Coordinator Jose Negron reported on outstanding accessibility issues tracked in a shared system.

The commission also addressed temporary accessible parking for the April election, reviewed service animal training notes, and discussed next steps for a spring 2026 ADA seminar.
