CHELMSFORD — Council on Aging Board approves routine minutes, advances facility work. Director Debi Siriani reported on capital improvements including hallway and Brigham Hall flooring and replacement of an outside awning damaged in winter, with the Friends of the Senior Center approving $20,000 for painting projects. Siriani announced that Day Program Manager Colleen Normandy will retire at the end of July, while a transportation study examining senior services and unmet needs nears completion.

A 250th anniversary celebration is planned for July 1, and several new programs have proven popular with strong attendance.
