CHELMSFORD — The Council on Aging Board re-elected Bob Schneider as Chairman unanimously and reported vacancies requiring immediate recruitment. Director Debi Siriani announced the search for a replacement for retiring Director Colleen Normandy (end of July) and a new van driver following Art Liakos's retirement. An ad for board members in the June Messenger drew no applications.
The Friends of the Council on Aging will hold its annual meeting July 15 with officer elections. Scheduled senior trips include Tall Ships in July, Fenway Park in August, and Ogunquit Playhouse in September.
