CHELMSFORD — The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee approved prior minutes and heard presentations on podcast development and spring programming. Chair Bill Campbell oversaw discussion of a Chelmsford Telemedia podcast project and updates on Black History Month events, including trivia and jazz brunch activities. The committee discussed March 29 "Day of Visibility" programming in partnership with "Stand Up Parker," an LGBTQ student alliance run by school psychologist Aaron Lee.

With funds described as "very short," the committee discussed fundraising approaches including a five thousand dollar request to Paul Cohen and potential sponsorships, to support Asian American and Pacific Islander Month, police department, and Pride Month events scheduled through June.
