Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee · Meeting of May 12, 2026

CHELMSFORD — The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee suspended regular meetings through August and advanced planning for June and July community events. Chair Bill Campbell and eight members approved prior minutes and allocated $500 for a June 12 Pride Month dance party, with Tina Kempner leading planning and tickets priced at $15. The committee is organizing a June 27 Juneteenth film screening featuring "Sarah's Oil" with community remarks.

Campbell is pursuing an anti-hate pledge with Chelmsford schools, and the committee is recruiting one additional member. Regular meetings resume September 8.
