Chelmsford DEI Committee reviews Transgender Day of Visibility event, updates spring programming. Approximately 60 attendees participated despite early promotion and PFLAG involvement, prompting members to identify outreach gaps and propose promoting future events through hospitals and Emerson College. The committee reported just over $1,000 in available funds and is pursuing grants and sponsorships for Juneteenth, Pride Month on June 12, an AAPI celebration on May 14, and Indigenous People's Day in October.
Chief Spence has requested his retirement gift be donated to the committee.
