CHELMSFORD — The Housing Advisory Board approved planning for a Housing Resource Summit, scheduled for either September 10 or 24 at the Senior Center starting at noon. Chair Deborah Taverna and members Deirdre Connolly and Patricia Wojtas directed Community Development Director Evan Belansky to contact state and regional housing agencies, counseling services, and organizations focused on aging, health, and human services; board members also recommended outreach to the Lowell Regional Transit Authority, the Board of Health, the Food Pantry, banks, estate planners, legal firms, and home renovation companies. At the next meeting on July 1, the board will develop and begin distributing promotional materials for the summit.
