CHELMSFORD — Library Trustees unanimously invite student representative and schedule August meeting. The Chelmsford Public Library Board of Trustees approved the selection of Vihan Pathak, a current sophomore, to serve as the next student representative beginning in September, chosen from six candidates for his financial acumen and interest in how municipal government operates. Director Lesley Kimball reported that the library's Friends organization received a $15,000 grant from the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation for a mobile kitchen curriculum unit called the Charlie Cart.
The board declined to meet in July due to scheduling conflicts and scheduled the next regular meeting for Wednesday, August 5 at 5:30 p.m., with a November backup date of Wednesday, November 4 at 7:00 p.m.
