The committee approved arrangements for the July 3rd Concert on the Common, secured Jilly Martin and band under signed contract, and confirmed four landscape companies to transport floats and bands in exchange for pole banners. Summer banner orders total 43 units ready to print, and four new sponsors have committed.
However, seven to eight committee members plan to depart after this parade, reducing active membership to six to seven; the committee debated whether the town's celebration committee will absorb parade functions or if the event will become entirely town-administered.
