CHELMSFORD — Parade Committee approves April minutes and treasurer report, advancing July Fourth planning. The committee confirmed 25 bands will march, including Funky Carnival returning, with Patriot cheerleaders and Pat Patriot participation pending. Air-filled balloons will be distributed at 5 a.m. to approximately 3,500 people, with an arch spanning from the Chelmsford Center for the Arts to the Reviewing Stand.
Banner orders are strong and printing begins soon. The committee will decide in June whether to replace the traditional announcers book with three tablets for information management.
