Parker School Building Committee Selects New Construction as Preferred Option

CHELMSFORD — Parker School Building Committee unanimously selects new construction option for MSBA review. The Committee voted 13-0 to recommend Option A2-2, a grades 4-6 facility, as its preferred alternative, surpassing addition, renovation, and repair options in a comparative scoring matrix. Ai3 Architects and LeftField PM are authorized to submit the Preferred Schematic Report to the MSBA by April 29, with a presentation to MSBA staff and board members scheduled for May 13 or 20.
The new construction option ranges from $198.8 million to $353.8 million in preliminary cost estimates.
