Planning Board approves industrial subdivision with temporary fencing condition.
Planning Board · Meeting of February 25, 2026
CHELMSFORD — Planning Board approves industrial subdivision for Riverneck Road. The board unanimously granted definitive subdivision approval and a special permit to Commonwealth Construction and Utilities Co. for a 5.4-acre project creating three industrial-zoned lots and a frontage roadway, with the Department of Public Works confirming no remaining concerns that afternoon. Board Clerk Joel Luna secured a special condition requiring a temporary fence around the cul-de-sac to prevent dumping until permitting is completed for the rear lots.
Chair Chris Lavallee also highlighted the board's plan to prioritize multiple zoning conflict areas, particularly Riverneck Road and surrounding streets, before the next town meeting.
