Chelmsford Planning Board endorsed a lot combination at 3 Beaulieu Street and advanced neighborhood rezoning. The board approved an ANR application for Marc Malo to merge three parcels, with Community Development Director Evan Belansky confirming lots remain separately taxed despite zoning merger. In the third phase of the town-wide zoning conflict resolution effort, Member Annita Tanini presented Riverneck neighborhood rezoning proposals changing many IA properties to RB and designating CBLT zones to prevent distribution centers.
Residents including Sean Campbell sought conservation designation of a 0.34-acre town parcel as a buffer from 300 Apollo Drive industrial uses; the board agreed Chair Lavallee would contact the Conservation Commission. The board scheduled a data center regulatory framework for Belansky to draft and nominated Vice-Chair Joel Luna to the Managed Growth Strategy Task Force replacing John Sousa, Jr.
