CHELMSFORD — Recycling Committee advances single-use black plastic warrant article toward fall town meeting vote. The Committee, led by Chair Lee Williams, will vote in July on the finalized language after members Lindsey B. Sieber and Rebecca Gore reported the bylaw wording nearly complete.
Sustainability Manager Chris Haley provided year-to-date tonnage data through April; the May figures were not yet available. The Committee reviewed a packed calendar of community events including the May 16 Junk in the Trunk (43 donors, 115 shoppers) and an upcoming July 3 Country Fair booth. All members were assigned sections of an annual report due in August.
