CHELMSFORD — Select Board approves $2.5M in road and library spending. Chair Pat Wojtas's board unanimously awarded $2,337,000 to Newport Construction for 2026 full depth reclaim and paving and $125,000 to NV5 of Andover for Adams Library HVAC replacement. Senator Mike Barrett and Representatives Jim Arciero and Simon Cataldo briefed the board on state legislative priorities, including a forthcoming climate and energy policy bill with municipal solar, microgrid, and geothermal pilot provisions, and $21,000 in Chapter 90 culvert repair funds for Chelmsford.
The board also approved licenses for two events at an Armenian church and re-appointed James Lane, Jr. to the Board of Registrars.
