Select Board approves Proctor Road as public way, eyes policy streamline.

CHELMSFORD — Select Board votes unanimously to layout Proctor Road as public way. Vice Chair Patricia Wojtas moved the motion, which advances the road to the Planning Board for recommendations before town meeting. In separate unanimous votes, the Board appointed Caroline Parlee to the Agricultural Commission, Tina Maria Kempner and Sophy Theam to the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, and approved Town Manager Paul Cohen's appointment of Nancy Araway to the Historical Commission.

The Police Department's $122,769 body-worn camera grant award and the one-year ambulance contract extension with PrideStar Trinity EMS at $131,308 were also reported by the Town Manager.
