At the Oct. 6 School Committee meeting, a Chelmsford High School student representative said the school's football, boys soccer, and field hockey teams have been winning their recent games against some of the top teams in the state, though no scores or opponents were detailed.
CHELMSFORD --
HIGH SCHOOL
Student representative Patrick reported to the School Committee on Oct. 6 that "Chelmsford sports have been on a roll with football, boys soccer, and field hockey all winning their last few games against some of the top teams in the state." No specific scores or opponents were given in the report.
The same meeting included word of an upcoming fundraiser tied to the high school: the Class of 2028 student representatives are organizing a pickleball tournament after school on Oct. 14, starting around 2:30 p.m., with proceeds going toward future Class of 2028 events. Student reps said early practice is advised, joking that two staff members involved "are unbelievably good at pickleball."
